Well Seasoned is a small, independent site by an IT enthusiast trying out a new field by building something useful.
The idea came from a familiar habit. Before buying anything, I’d browse reviews, scroll through comments, hunt for a YouTube video that actually tested the thing, then bounce between five tabs to decide. I wanted a single place that did that work for me — so I started building one. What began as a personal tool grew into this experiment: a site that gathers real reviews and customer experience from a few different sources — actual user reviews, YouTube channel reviews, product pages — and tries to summarise them in one place.
Is there automation behind the scenes? Yes — AI helps turn the raw material into readable text, and a small pipeline keeps things flowing so I can spend more time refining than typing. Is this one-of-a-kind? Definitely not. Plenty of sites do something similar; this one is mine, and it focuses on what I actually wanted as a reader.
Kitchen accessories is the first topic, mostly because it’s a category I buy in often enough to know where the gaps in existing reviews are. More categories will follow.
I’m not expecting overnight success. The realistic hope is to grow traffic gradually and, if it goes well, cover the running costs of the site through Google AdSense and the occasional Amazon affiliate commission (at no extra cost to readers). If it ends up helping someone make a slightly better buying decision along the way, that’s the win.
