Dreame AeroFusion Air Fryer Launches in the US With Steam Technology Designed to Stop Dry Food

Dreame Technology — best known for its robot vacuums — is expanding aggressively into kitchen appliances, and its first US air fryer launch is arriving now. The AeroFusion AF30 and AF60 combine air frying with superheated steam in a design the company says directly addresses the most common complaint about the category: food that comes out dry and tough.

What Is the AeroFusion Line?

Dreame unveiled the AeroFusion line at its DREAME NEXT launch event in San Francisco in late April 2026. The event showcased two air fryer models — the AF30 and the AF60 — alongside blenders, a slow juicer, an espresso machine, and a smart toaster.

The AF30 uses a 360° Dual-Source Cyclonic Heat™ system and is confirmed for US retail launch in June 2026. The AF60 is the flagship model, adding the company's CrispVapor™ technology — a steam-generation system that runs alongside the hot-air circulation.

Jackie Chen, head of Dreame Small Kitchen Appliances, presented the line as part of a push to reduce home cooks' reliance on food delivery by making cooking results more consistent and reliable.

How CrispVapor Technology Works

Traditional air fryers work by blasting food with very hot, very dry air. That dryness is effective for crisping — but it also pulls moisture out of chicken breasts, fish fillets, and vegetables, often leaving them desiccated at the center even when the outside looks properly browned.

The AF60's CrispVapor™ system adds a second element: an 800W steam generator that heats water to 140°C, producing superheated steam — steam that has been heated past water's boiling point until the remaining moisture has been driven off. The result is a dry, extremely hot gas that wraps food in a protective moisture barrier without making it soggy.

Dreame calls this "Steam-Then-Roast" logic: the steam phase first, followed by hot-air circulation to crisp the exterior.

Specs at a Glance

The AF60's published specifications, based on pre-launch coverage:

  • Steam generator: 800W, heats water to 140°C
  • Fan: 2,500 RPM using a Coanda-effect air duct for 360° circulation
  • Dual heating sources: Infrared-coated stainless steel element (top) + PTC ceramic heater (base)
  • Capacity: 7 quarts — sufficient for a whole chicken
  • Water tank: 37-ounce, detachable
  • Recipe presets: 20
  • Pricing: Not yet announced

The AF30 capacity is also 7L but does not include the steam generator system.

US Availability

Both models are set to go on sale in the US in June 2026 through Amazon, Dreame's official website, and other major online retailers. No pricing has been disclosed ahead of launch.

Dreame says the North American pipeline will eventually include smart stand mixers, high-performance professional blenders, and additional smart appliances.

Why This Matters

Air fryers are now one of the most common countertop appliances in US kitchens — but the dry-food complaint is also one of the most consistent. Home cooks frequently report that chicken and fish cook faster than expected in an air fryer but come out noticeably drier than oven-roasted results, particularly with leaner cuts.

The CrispVapor approach mirrors the logic of professional combi ovens, which combine steam and convection heat and cost several thousand dollars in their commercial form. If Dreame can execute this reliably in a sub-$300 countertop form factor, it would meaningfully change what a home air fryer is capable of.

Pricing hasn't been confirmed, and independent hands-on reviews have not yet been published. That means home cooks should wait for real-world testing before buying — but the design rationale is sound enough to watch closely.

Conclusion

Dreame's AeroFusion line brings a different approach to the air fryer category, pairing superheated steam with conventional hot-air circulation to target food quality rather than just speed. The US launch is arriving this month. Pricing and independent test results are both still pending — check back once both are available before committing.
